China Glaze Island Escape part 2

Continuing with the exciting nail mail from yesterday here's China Glaze's 108 degrees.  It's described as a "Flirtatious berry pink with specks of micro glitter." Completely accurate.  This was 4 coats and the formula was just as great as the last shimmer glitters in the collection. It's a very soft raspberry feel with these gold and pink mico glitter that add a bit of flash to the nail when it hits the sun.  It's a very pretty color pink especially for summer and if you are looking for something a little different to wear.  I'm not usually a pink/berry kind of girl and I could see myself wearing this often.

As with the previous shimmers, there was a little visible nail line but only at certain angles in the sun and you don't notice it unless you're looking for it.

Moving onto the last shimmer in the collection is Cha Cha Cha which is a "vivacious green shimmer".  I did 3 coats of this and I didn't notice visible nail line, again, unless I looked for it.  I took this picture under my lamp that has a daylight bulb because it was dark outside.  It flashes a yellow/gold in the shimmer and is more rich than a lime green.

Here's a second picture in my light box.  You can better see the yellow/gold shimmer it casts.  Really pretty! The formula was consistent with the other shimmers in the collection- easy to apply and minimal streaking if you have a steady hand.

Let me introduce you to the last creme in the collection: Papaya Punch.  It's a "creme based vivid orange".  Yes, yes it is! I was hesitant to start swatching this one because I thought it would be streaky and apply like yellow polish that has become infamous for lack of even opacity.  But this polish delivered.  The application was impressive; here is 3 coats.  You could do 2 generous if you're patient enough to wait for it to dry.  Also, there is no top coat on this one either.

I wanted to try and show you with my light box how creamy the formula is.  It's nice to have a polish with a formula that's not runny. I never thought I'd ever wear an orange polish, this is the first one I've tried on.  I stared at it for a while and I think I could totally wear this when I want something different but not loud. It's got great color while still being soft.

I want to try to layer the glitters and see if I can rid myself of the visible nail line I sometimes get from my really white tips.  Overall I think China glaze did a great job on this collection; shimmers and great cremes.

What do you guys think? What's your favorite from the collection?
