OPI: So So Skullicious and Pink Of Hearts 2012

 This October set by OPI is so cute! Check out the packaging- an easy one to spot when you're shopping! There are 4 minis in So So Skullicious: (from press release:) Hi, Pumpkin! This jack-o-lantern orange is sweet on you, A-Rose from the Dead This hot pink is the life of the Halloween party, Mourning Glory A black so shiny, it will lift your spirits, Candlelight Be all aglow in this flame yellow. 

I'm not sure if these are repeat colors (black onyx, strawberry margarita etc.) But either way they're adorable! They also come with 10 water decals that are sugar skulls and flowers. I chose the green skull to put over black. Each color was 2 coats (Candlelight and Hi, Pumpkin! could probably use undies for a smoother more opaque look). I like the color choice, they're not the regular Halloween colors you'd see for the season. "So So Skullicious will be available for a limited time beginning September 2012, at Professional Salons, including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, JCPenney, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, and ULTA, for $12.50 ($14.95 CAN) suggested retail for each mini pack."

 For this year's OPI Breast Cancer Awareness duo they chose I Think In Pink: a soft baby pink sheer and You Glitter Be Good To Me: a clear base with small pink glitters and larger/sparse purple glitters. I used 3 coats for what is shown on my index and little fingers. On the top picture I have one coat of ITIP and one coat of YGBGTM, in the bottom picture, I sandwiched the glitter (pink, glitter, pink, glitter, top coat) I didn't cover the glitter over again because I thought I'd be great to see different dimensions of the glitter with some being sandwiched and some as a top layer. I'm loving this combo because even the glitter is delicate.
