Opi has had alot of buzz about their new "sorbet" formulas from their Texas collection. Some users were irritated that you can see the nail line and that it wasn't opaque, others loved the formula and didn't mind the nail line. I fall into the later. I was hesitant to try these sorbets out because of all the negative feedback. I am so glad I finally picked one up though!
So this was 4 coats of Do You Think I'm Tex-y and boy is it pretty! The sorbet formula is like a jelly but it's very easy to work with and keeps a rubbery look to it. I have a top coat of China Glaze Fast Forward but seriously it didn't make much difference in shine, other than seal the color.
I'm also not big on pinks bu this is like a light raspberry color and it's very pretty! I will be wearing this one as a regular polish, especially when I want color but something toned down. It dried pretty fast as well so it was easy to do 4 coats. I recommend the new sorbet formula to anyone who's looking for a different subtle type of polish.
Then because I can never leave good enough alone, I added Color Club's Magic Attraction over it for some blingy goodness! love the holo silver glitter! This picture is from a daylight lamp.
This picture is from my light box... still looks good I think but it's totally fine on its own without sparkles :)
** also on a side note, I've started planning another giveaway at 200 followers, it will be bigger than the last and run longer..40 more to go and we'll begin! **
im not big on pinks either BUT this one is a purdy polish!
