Dr.'s Remedy: Concealer Cream Swatches

So I wanted to try this product out and see how it worked. I got the light shade and it was too light for me (too much pink undertones) so I called up my friend who is lighter than I am and she was nice enough to model for you.  Here's the jest of the cream:

Have spider veins? Cover them with Dr.'s REMEDY Enriched Instant Cover, which glides on smoothly and dries instantly to reveal a flawless finish. Loath those sun spots? Conceal them quickly with Dr.'s REMEDY Enriched Instant Cover. Annoyed by pesky birthmarks? Camouflage them in a flash with Dr.'s REMEDY EnrichedInstant Cover. Grown tired of that tattoo? Hide the evidence with Dr.'s REMEDYEnriched Instant Cover.

First we tried it out on her birthmark on her forearm. Quite pleased with the results. The lighting is indirect natural light. We dabbed on two coats and let it dry.

We then moved on to tackle spider veins. This was all we could find on her :-)
I think the concealer worked best for this, I dabbed on one coat of it and you can significantly see the difference. Not too shabby!

Last we tried was the toughest: tattoo cover up.  As you can see it didn't go so well. To be fair, she has a dark pigmented tattoo and her shoulders are more tan than her forearm and back knee.  I just kept layering it to see what would happen. So this is many many layers of concealer and while it did cover, I think wearing a shirt with some sort of sleeve would be easier.  May be the medium tone would have worked better on her for this area too though.

Overall it's pretty great for the spider veins and I think I will have my mother try it out. It also has nutritious stuff in it for your skin so it shouldn't irritate or dry your skin out.

"Boasting an ingredient list that's good-for-your-skin, such as tea tree oil, lavender, vitamins C and E and wheat protein, Dr.'s REMEDY Enriched Instant Cover is a water resistant goof-and-fool-proof solution for perfecting a less-than-stellar skin tone situation."

Dr.'s REMEDY Enriched Instant Cover is available in Light, Medium and Deep for $40 online at www.remedynails.com or by calling 1-877-323-NAIL

  3. This is definitely an interesting idea.. although, my tattoo is so big that it'd probably be pretty hard to cover my tattoo! If I ever got one on my foot, I'd probably try this out.
