Butter London: The Old Bill

I have a simple yet pretty polish for you today. Butter London's The Old Bill is one I picked up during the buy one get one promotion.  I literally have may be 2 gold polishes in my collection so I thought this would be perfect. It applied great, 2 coats and it was opaque. In the picture I took off the outer cap so you could see the handle of the brush. The Old Bill is somewhere between a frost and metallic. It applies like a frost but looks like a metallic.  The formula was pretty good and of you look close enough you can see different micro flecks of silver in the bottle. It's a deep gold color that leans towards rose undertones rather than yellow undertones. You can see some of the brush strokes (doesn't bother me but not the polish for you if you hate brush strokes!). Over all it's not too shabby and I think next time I'll figure out something more to do with it and may be even have a comparison post of my gold polishes :-)
Don't forget to enter my giveaway, few more hours left to kill some lemmings!

  1. This is pretty...on my monitor it's coming across more bronzy than gold. But I can see the rose in it - nice shade. I am so glad many companies have figured out how to make frosts look OK now vs. the ick they were for soooo many years. This one does not give a lot of brush marks.
