Orchid: Funky Monkey

You would have thought by now that I would have a polish with "monkey" in the name.. well up until a few days ago I didn't. I was sent Orchid's Funky Monkey by a fellow blogger, Iris from Polish Amor. She has an awesome blog if you haven't checked it out, make sure to do so :-)

Anyways, she sent this one to me because she said she thought of me when she saw it... hee hee awesome.

It's a brand that's new to me and the blog, Orchid. This awesome copper/gold/red shimmer is amazing.

I layered it over Essie's Lady Godiva which is a chocolate brown with red undertones. The combination reminds me of fall leaves, all golden and brown with hints of yellow hues. I used two coats of Funky Monkey over one coat of Lady Godiva.  I really love this mani and cannot thank Iris enough for thinking of me. It's a new polish, a monkey name and chit chatting with a new blogger friend; all makes me happy!

I added lots of stuff to my blog sale and am doing something different with the prices .. check it out.
And... I added a lot of new stuff to my Etsy shop including headbands, bobby pins, stars, circles and more all done with polish. I still have 2 subscription listings available too, I've been doing some great unique pieces for the subscribers.
