Butter London: No More Waity Katie

Another Butter London for you today, No More Waity Katie! I have a base of Essie's Smokin' Hot which is a gray that has purple undertones in it (stunning color by the way). No More Waity Katie is a lavender square glitter polish that sits in a "dirty lavender" base.  It applied amazingly awesome for a glitter polish. You can ell it's pretty much even in amount and distribution of glitter to the nail.

I topped it off with a coat of quick dry clear SV and all was well. Great color but only to layer it... I really love it layered over Smokin' Hot, to me this is a perfect combination, they were made for each other.  :-)  I'm really loving the dusty muted purple/grays, great for fall and winter.

  4. I had a horrible time with my bottle of 'Katie." Mine was really thick and sticky. It did not flow over the nail at all. I had read of this problem on a few blogs. Makes me wonder now that you have a good bottle what's up with the QC on this one??? I had to add quite a bit of thinner to even make it work. Like yours over the smoke Essie - wish I had that shade - it's a great one that I did not pick up when it was out. I have to hunt through my stash to find something good to put on under Katie. I had thought maybe I would try CG Chanelesque or the semi dupe for that CG released last late winter - 'Below Deck' - it's a little darker than Chanelesque is. FYI for all you who never got the shades you wanted from that Anchors Away CG collection that was not released through Sally's last winter - it's now come into the regular CG Sally's line - every single shade in that collection - yeah! There are a few main favs of mine in that group.
