Essie: Cocktail Bling and OPI: DS Coronation

Recently I got OPI DS Coronation because I cannot resist a silver holo! It seemed sheer though so I put it over Essie Cocktail Bling from their 2011 Winter collection. This color is amazing, it's like a dirty purple with gray undertones. I love it so much. It was opaque in two coats with no application problems. I did two coats of DS Coronation over it. I really loved the way this looked out of the sun too (bottom right corner), it looked like granite rock. Once in the sun though, you see the super pretty silver holo! I wore this for a few days and had no problems with wear or chipping. I don't think I'd try to make the DS Coronation opaque because I don't want to waste it, so layering turned out great for me. What do you think? It's not exactly a linear holo but it is quite pretty on the nail layered.
