OPI: Pink of Hearts 2013- swatches

I'm a big fan of this combination. Usually I'm pretty neutral with the Pink of Hearts collections every year but this year is different... matte glitter... it changes things. Onto the swatches...

Pinking of You is a delicate pale pink creme. I did two coats and when applied pretty thick, you get even coverage with just two, it's almost jelly-like in consistency so have a steady hand during application or just do three thin coats. The star of the duo is More Than A Glimmer- a super pale pink matte base with tons of pastel glitters. I included a macro shot of the glitter for you... check out the different sizes, love it. A nice plus about this glitter is that because it is matte, it dries fast.  The special collection also comes with ten pink ribbon stickers and crystals for embellishment.  Really there is nothing not to like about this collection- a pretty pink, awesome matte glitter, cute decals and it's all for a great cause.
This duo pack is designed to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research and support. In 2013, OPIwill donate $25,000 in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October) to Susan G. Komen®. OPI will also donate $5,000 to Rethink Breast Cancer in Canada.
Pink-ing of You and More than a Glimmer feature OPI’s exclusive ProWide Brush for the ultimate in application. Pink of Hearts 2013 will be available September and October 2013 at Professional Salons, including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, jcp Salons, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, ULTA and ulta.com for $15.95 ($19.95 CAN) suggested retail.

  1. I just love this, and I am about to put it on my nails for the second week of Breast Awareness Month. Hope I can get it to look as good as yours does.
