In honor of yesterday's post and review of Come Clean dog soap, I did this summer time themed mani.
Nothing screams summer more than neons and the ultimate neon yellow is Orly Glowstick. Love this so much. I laid down a white base first, the Glowstick. I stamped the bubble (M85 from Konad) using Sally Hansen's Celeb City (another one I love to stamp with), and used a brown Milani polish for the dog and paws (SH08- shany). In case you missed my review of the awesome Come Clean soap you can see it HERE and find out more about the company and order it from their site HERE.

Come Clean- Pop Culture Soap - review
We haven't seen anything like this on Manicured Monkey before but let's give it a go, most of us are responsible for some kind of fur beast. Come Clean Pop Culture Soap is HANDMADE (!) in NY, and formulated with your dog in mind. The bars come in different scents (this one was lavender and coconut to help with soothing and shedding) and house a very cool little vinyl pup in the middle that you can save, trade or just hold on to when the bar is done. My dog, Cooper, is 13 months old and is a pitbull\hound mix who loves the water. He has never met a bath or pool he didn't like and also has sensitive skin.Come Clean smells great; not too strong and not perfumey, lathers well and rinses clean. Did I mention it is all natural?... from the company:
If your dog is lucky enough to share your car, sofa, bed and home – my very special All Natural Dirty Dog Shampoo Bar will change your life! It is created with drops of 100% pure essential oils to naturally repel fleas and ticks, blended with human grade moisturizing gentle glycerin soap – hand poured with love.
Most importantly the coconut oil in it helped Cooper's coat to be even softer than before. During summer and winter, food pads and skin can dry out; especially if your dog is a swimmer or plays outside; coconut oil helps to hydrate and protect the sensitive skin areas. The bars retail for about $12 (find out more on their site HERE) and as I mentioned before, come in different scents: lavender\coconut, rose geranium, lemon eucalyptus and bergamot sage. Extremely worth the price, I also think it was easier to use than a liquid soap because you just lather the bar up against your pup and then scrub, lasts longer that over using liquid. Overall, love this soap! For the dog lovers out there, you can follow Cooper shenanigans on instagram HERE. Be sure to check out the hastag: #comecleansoap to see other clean pups!
