Orly: Summer 2011 Pinup collection

The summer 2011 collection from Orly! The Pinup collection is quite pretty, it includes four polishes (from right to left) Croquette cutie, Va Va Voom, Bubbly Bombshell and Here Comes Trouble. Here is collection information from Orly:

Pinup offers a shade for every glamour girl, from the sophisticated seductress to the fearless rock ‘n roll goddess.  Bright, feminine crèmes mingle with eye catching jewel-tone glitters to offer a range of colors sureto turn heads.  

First up is Bubbly Bombshell: a foil purple glitter.  This was a generous 3 coats, but would best be layered over a purple creme so you can appreciate each individual glitter.  There are true purple small glitters and larger round glitter in a translucent purple base.  Its dry time was a bit longer and came off like a usual glitter bomb, but so worth it for the different sized foil glitter awesomeness.  

Next up is the coral creme, Croquette Cutie.  This has the usual coral orange under tones but I feel like ti's still soft and true to the pink side of the corals.  It dries semi-glossy and dry time was pretty fast.  This was 2 coats for opacity, you could do one generous coat if you had a steady hand. 

 

This color is also something I'd wear and I usually don't wear corals so that's saying a lot.

Here Comes Trouble... and a ton more awesome foil glitter! So this is the exact same as Bubbly Bombshell but in a true green.  I've included a close up so you can see the different sized glitter.  This one sits in a lime translucent base.  I really like this one and can't wait to try it on my friend who loves greens! Check out the glitter, love it! This was three coats and the different glitter really adds texture to the look.

Last up is Va Va Voom, you will love this polish! I streams summer to me! It's a retna searing pink that dries semi matte and is opaque in 1 coat, I did 2. 

I will definitely be rocking this on my toes very very soon.  It's a true girly pink but has attitude to it, absolutely love this! It dried fast, covered well and has a unique finish, complete awe.
