Wet N' Wild: Through the Grapevine + Stamping

So I really do love my purples but have been trying to branch out lately.. but then I saw this..

Wet N' Wild's Through the Grapevine which is a creamy mauvy purple.  This is two coats and it turned out great, the formula was questionable on the first coat- streaky, thick- but then the second smoothed everything out.  It dries relatively fast as well.  The only thing I don't like about this polish, but I can get used to, is the mini brush it comes with.  Now, it's mini in length, not in bristles.  It's fuzzy like you'd find in a normal sized bottle of polish, which is awesome.

I wanted to stamp over it trying out some BYS polishes I got from a swap.  I stamped the middle finger as the accent because I felt like that color needed more framing.  The blue is Yabba Dabba Blue (cute name huh!). They both stamped beautifully but I have this whole idea that if I'm going to stamp, I want it to really show.  So in that regard Chk Chk Boom wasn't cutting it and became the accent.
This was the first time using my Mash plate M63 too, and I must say I'm super impressed!
I love finding new colored polishes to stamp with and these are awesome because they are not available in the states. I really enjoyed swapping for the first time and would love to do it with someone who is in Europe/Asia and has access to polishes I don't have here in the states.

Have you entered my Giveaway?!

  1. I love it!
Beside Konad special polishes, chromes are the best for stamping.
