Black Swift and Gold Glitz
Hey Monkeys! I have simple mani for you today that would be good for a Halloween party if you're not so good at nail art or if you're in a hurry. I started with 2 coats of Milani Black Swift and did a sponge gradient of Milani Gold Glitz from the tips up. This was part of the project some bloggers participated in for Milani's Pinterest boards using only Milani polishes. As of October 1st, Milani will be in Wal-Mart stores and will have a QR code on their display that when scanned, will take you to their Pinterest boards to check out all of our nail art using just the Milani products available in the display. This technique is super easy, especially witih Black Swift because it dries fast and is super opaque. All you need is a sponge (I use the make up wedges that are cheap and you can cut into different shapes and textures). I put some polish down in a blob on the back of a stamping plate (one without backing of course), then dip the sponge in and start at the tip of my nail first to get thicker coverage, then dab up toward the base of your nail (there's less and less glitter every time you dab so it's kind of brainless really). If you try this technique, tweet or email me your pictures, I may do a post with them :)
