China Glaze: Lemon Fizz

This polish color reminds me of lemon aid! It's Lemon Fizz from China Glaze's Up & Away 2010 collection.  It is the first soft yellow color I had purchased and I must say a few things about this.  Yellow is hard to work with, you get streaks but this formula is pretty streak free and creamy.  Second, it did take like 3 coats to smooth everything out and make sure it built up nicely to cover streaking.  3rd since it is so thick and creamy, it took a while to dry, not too long, just longer than I normally wait.

I also wanted to stamp it in black to see what it looked like. It looked kind of boring just stamped so I added some Fairy Dust over the stamp as a topper.  That made the stars look better and give the yellow a bit more pop to it.   I had a hard time capturing the fairy dust holo glitter but you can see it in the 'cooler' photo a little bit.  It is much more noticeable in person than on camera.
It was nice though because it added a little something something to an otherwise flat looking mani. Do you layer over yellows? I think I for sure will, if anything just to hide any streaks or unevenness LOL!
