Essie: Sand Tropez and Sally Hansen Rock Candy

Essie's Sand Tropez is delicious. It's a creme that applies wonderfully and opaque in 2 coats with no problems.  I would describe the color as an updated beige that wants to be a nude. I dig this polish alot! I actually wore this mani for 4 days until I had to take it off to swatch :) Sand Tropez is from the French Affair collection.

I topped it with a new Sally Hansen, Rock Candy, from the new revamped Hard as Nails line.  It's a thick gel base that is peach tinted and has mini glitter and larger round holo glitter throughout it.  It looked so pretty over Sand Tropez.

I wish it was more dense but two coats of it over Sand Tropez was pretty. It added an interesting aspect to an otherwise neutral polish.  The Rock Candy looked like little pieces of sand on Sand Tropez, so it was appropriate! A perfect match :D
Also, for the $1 something price tag of the Sally Hansen Hard as Nails, you can't go wrong with this top coat!
