Sally Hansen: Insta-Dri Fall 2011

Fall collections are in full swing! This is the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri polishes for Fall 2011.  I have not shown this line to you before.  This was my first encounter with the Insta-Dri polish line and I have to say I'm very much a fan. This is why:
~ dries fast
~ most opaque in one coat
~ brush is flat and tapered
~ handle easy to hold
~ bottle shape stores nicely
~ affordable

First up is Bronze Ablaze.  This was two coats to even out the coverage, but you could do one steady thick coat and it would be opaque.  Bronze Ablaze is a bit of a chameleon; it sometimes looks bronze or olive. You can see how it varies depending on the angle of your nail.  In less light it is darker, more it is shimmery and olive. Great color!

Coco A Gogo is a rich shimmery brown.  It has a bit of a gold shimmer to it. In my opinion, this is the color I think of when I think of Fall. It's warm but still happy and reminds me of the leaves changing.  Beautiful!

Next is Grape'scape (like great escape), it is a deep shimmery purple. I used one coat on this for opacity. This purple leans towards blue tones. I cannot wait to wear this one for Fall, it's rich in color, deep in tone and a little different that what you normally see for Fall.

Presto Pewter is awesome. It also has the shimmer to it but is a one coater that is a cross between gray and silver. It's tone is that of a dark gray but has the shine and highlighting of silver. I cannot wait to use this for stamping or to stamp over!

Quick Brick is a deep shimmery red with orange undertones. A real classy color appropriate for work or just a casual occasion where you want to have some saturated color.

Ruby Rush is a shimmery dark raspberry. It looks red but then I see pink tones.  It's interesting, eye catching but still subtle.  I think it would make a great pedi color.  This was two coats for opacity, again you could do one if you're awesome enough.

Tealy Fast is probably my favorite blue I own from Sally Hansen. It is a dark, in depth blue with amazing shimmer to it.  It has so much dimension, I absolutely love this color. It is a one coater and like the entire collection, all dry fast!

I haven't seen these in my CVS, Walgreens or Rite Aid yet but I hear they are out there and people are finding them for $4.99.
Find your closest Sally Hansen retailer HERE and they're on Facebook.
