Franken: Candy Shop Dupe

This beauty is a polish that Katie from The Nailaholic had frankened for me. It's a dupe for the Deborah Lippmann Candy Shop. I love this, it's squishy and looks like an instant candy mani without the major layering. She's fantastic and did not eat a top coat! I did two coats for these pictures. Later I added a 3rd coat to see how much depth I could get with the layering. I like the depth but the pink gets darker and I prefer the 2 coats shade of pink

What do you guys think? I love it and I'm not a real big fan of pink :-)
I have a few more she frankened for me that are impressive as well! Stay tuned!

  1. This is really pretty. I wouldn't mind having a bottle for myself. I wish I had the guts to Franken. My problem is what if it turns out like crap. Then I have wasted good polish on poo!

  3. This came out so great! Talented Katie!! You need to let pinks grow on you. They look good on your coloring. And there are so many spins from pink...I keep predicting we are going to move into a return of mauves here soon...that's a good way to merge into pinks - from dusty ones or just jump feet first. But I know what ya mean. I am that way with yellows - I don't like them on me at all and yet I love the color yellow for clothing - sheets and other things.

  4. It is a very fun looking mani. You can say a lot about your mood with your polish choice.
