Hey all,
How are ye? I'm Cuti-CLUE-les and I'm taking over the blog for today! For my little guest post here I tried to go for something a bit more fun and suitable for Spring. We've actually been getting a fair bit of sun here in Ireland at the moment so it was nice to play around with some Springy polishes.
For this manicure I started off with a base of Catrice Salmon & Garfunkel. This is a nice peachy creme which needs 3 coats for it to even out. Then using some striping tape I marked off the tips and added on a layer of Barry M Greenberry from the Gelly hi shine collection. This is a fairly thick polish which can be difficult to work with. Finally I added on Lac attack Spring Fling as a bit of a gradient. The green glitters in this polish are so pretty and they really add something a bit different to the overall look.
I hope ye all liked this little post. Sure if ye have any questions let me know and I'll try my best to answer them for ye.

Giveaway Preview: Cutey bracelet inspired mani
Today I have another preview of an item that will be included in my 1000 follower giveaway! Cutey.co.uk was kind enough to provide their Typhon bracelet. If you remember recently I reviewed their Momus bracelet and did my mani that matched. That post got lots of love, thank you for that! I tried to match the flowers on my little finger, but I put a silver background instead to cut down on streaking. I used a lot of different polishes in this mani: Orly, China Glaze, Sally Hansen Prism, Catrice, Wet N Wild, but how do you think it came out?
Big thanks to Cutey for providing the bracelet for my giveaway! Can't wait to show you what else is trickling in for it :)

Catrice: I Sea You! and Color Club Wish Upon A Rockstar
I wanted to do some sparkly fingers for you but also try out some of my new swap polishes and finds. I used 2 coats of Catrice I Sea You! again from Anouk and our swap. This is like a dusty green creme that was opaque in 1 generous coat. Since I was layering glitter on top, I was pleased with only doing one layer so it didn't build up and look thick on my nails. I ventured out and found the new Color club glitters. This one, Wish Upon a Rock Star is by far my favorite in the collection. It has large lavender glitter with red, yellow, blue, green, pink, red small glitter. I painted my ring finger black to see it layered over and I'm in love with it. I top coated it with Posche and it was not gritty. The glitter laid flat and all was well :)

Catrice: Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezey and stamping
Here's another awesome Catrice polish from Anouk and our swap. It's Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy, a yellow with green undertones. My camera hated taking pictures of it by itself, so the color is more accurate under the stamping. As with most yellows, EPLS was a bit streaky, however it was pretty good after two coats and opaque. I lathered a coat of SV on top then stamped with one of the new foils from Color Club called Cold Metal using my bundle monster two plates. For my accent finger I stamped with Color Club Perfect Mol-ten which is that shiny green foil. The foils are shimmery and stamp extremely well so I was thrilled it came out ok. The only problem I had with this mani was that the SV coat that I put on top of the stamping caused my mani to pull back or "shrink" away from the tip of my nail, so within a few hours it looked like I had major tip wear. I'm going to experiment and see what top coat plays nice with SV and won't shrink my mani :)
I kind of want to get the rest of the foils to stamp with now LOL
If you follow me on Twitter you probably saw that I am gearing up for a giveaway at 700 followers (the blog is over 700 followers, just not all are public... so 700 public followers)

Catrice: Dirty Berry
Oh, Catrice Dirty Berry, how I lusted for you to be on my nails! Recently I did a swap Anouk from Cupcake Beauty. Her blog is about all things beauty, it's great :) This was one of the gems she sent to me. I have wanted this polish for a long time, it's awesome!
Dirty Berry is a smokey lavender lacquer that has little silver flecks and micro holo glitter, it is very faint. The hue of purple is just beautiful. Application was a breeze and it was opaque in two coats. For these pictures, I didn't put a top coat on so you can see the true finish of the polish. I seriously love this polish and I have to say it is my favorite purple polish in my collection! I have a few more Catrice polishes to show you in the coming days, so watch out for that :-)
