Le Metier de Beaute: Silk Road (Fall/Winter 2011)

..
A bit about Le Metier de Beaute lacquers:
Specifically formulated to be 3-Free without formaldehyde, toluene and dibutyl phthalate (DBP), Proposition 65-compliant and fortified with strengthening proteins and hydrators, Le Métier de Beauté Nail Lacquers are highly pigmented for rich, glossy, long-wearing color.
The winding and impossibly distant channel of the Silk Road extended from as far as China to Indonesia, through Central Asia, the Arabian Peninsula and Egypt, until reaching Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean civilizations. Le Métier de Beauté’s East Meets West Nail Collection brings together a wealth of color reminiscent of the jewels, spices and luxurious fabrics that traveled this ancient path.

Urban Dweller - (top right) a rich chocolate plum with golden effervescence
Dynasty - (lower left) a deep, shimmering fuchsia
Anatolia - (lower right) a rich plum illuminated with bronzy, golden shimmer
Silk Road - (top left) a metallic, bronzed copper
From L to R: Anatolia, Dynasty, Silk Road

As with previous Le Metier de Beaute collections, these applied like butter and were all one coaters.  I didn't put a top coat on these and pictures were taken in my light box.
This collection is available September 2011 and retails for $10 each and can be purchased at Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus.

  2. I really like Anatolia. These bottles make me laugh. They are normal size but yet they have a "hollow" bottom with no polish in it. It might as well be a mini size haha!

  4. Fab shades that will work ever fall on through winter. But not much in the bottle for $10. Love the bottles however. They make me smile.
