BK: 17 - mauve holo

Another BK polish today, this one is #17 and it's a beaute! It's a raspberry mauve holo, or at least that's what I would call it because it's tone is that of raspberry but it's muted like a mauve. This little bottle of pretty came from Hong Kong in a swap and it includes diamond dust in the polish. Not sure how much that affects the holo, but I'm loving this polish either way :) I used two coats and a top coat of SV. Even though the bottles are small, you could get opaque in one coat with a steady hand, it would really be one of those polishes though that you don't go crazy using for not so special occasions. Savor the holo ;-) I've been trying to get through my untrieds for you, so you will probably see lots of glitter posts in the upcoming weeks LOL (can you tell I've been avoiding them!). But for today, enjoy the holo that is BK 17! If you need more holo in your life, Harri from Trailerhood Chic is having a holo week in honor of her birthday :)

And check out my blog sale ;)

BK: 20- black holo

Wednesday I'm over at Trailerhood Chic's blog doing a black holo guest post.. check it out, she's had a week of holo posts from people!!  :) .. don't worry, I'll remind you on Wed too :)

I really love a good holographic polish :) One that's black and one coat is awesome as well.  This is BK 20 and I actually used two thin coats (you could get opacity in one if you want). The one thing I love most about this polish is that it has diamond dust in it so it has much more holo-y goodness. The linear holo rainbow is strong on this polish, you can see it has blue, green, red/orange, yellow. I added SV as a top coat and you can see it didn't dull the effect. I've actually never had a holo that's been dulled by a top coat. This polish came from Hong Kong in a swap I did but I hear if you search hard enough you can find it in the U.S. now (by search I mean the internet, not in stores).

BK: 13 holo

Happy holo Monday everyone! Recently I did a swap again with Charlene from Hong Kong and got some major awesome stuff. This is a new brand to my blog called BK and the number is 13. It's a silver holographic that was opaque in one coat. That's right folks, one coat! As you may be able to tell the bottle is small but since it's a one coat holographic I'm 100% OK with that :-) Check out the rainbow, it's awesome. This formula is different from the China Glaze IDK and DV8 because it's more coarse holo. Does that make sense? It's not such a fine grit holo pattern but a chunkier more reflective holo, it's awesome. I have two more holos from BK to show you and they too do not disappoint! If the holo is not close up enough for you, you can still enlarge my collages.
Update: picked up some more polishes for the giveaway, I think you will like it :-)
