Frenching Girly Bits Smurf Dance
Hi Monkeys! Today I have for you a simple manicure I did while I was in a hurry. I french tipped my nails with Milani Black Swift then on my ring and thumb nails I used Girly Bits Smurf Dance (two coats). Not much to say about Black Swift that I haven't said before (totally my go to black polish) but Smurf Dance is pretty awesome so we'll chat about that. It has holographic glitters in it that didn't quite want to come out and play in my light box, along with medium blue and silver followed by larger blue and silver hex glitter. I wasn't sure I wanted a complete black accent nail to put Smurf Dance over so I decided to just wing it and put it over the french and I quite like it. The glitter is so dense and interesting it doesn't need a base color if you don't want one. A simple eye catching mani that takes no time at all and has great appeal to the masses.
Girly Bits is stocking polish through the following if you are interested, she has really great polishes that are indie but have the quality of mass manufactured (I appreciate this!).

Halloween Challenge: Candy Corn!
Last Halloween time I did a candy corn mani but this year I did a better one :) I'm participating in The Crumpets Halloween Challenge and day one kicks off with Candy Corn, to which I added a twist. I started with a sponged look using Milani White on the Spot, Yellow Whiz and OPI Hi, Pumpkin and topped it all off with Girly Bits Candy Corn. Candy Corn is a cool unique glitter in a clear base; it has white hex, bar and small rounds, large yellow square and hex along with medium orange hex glitters. I did a neutral accent finger to show off Candy Corn. Candy Corn is currently sold out but follow GB on Facebook to find out when stuff will be re-stocked (Pam's awesome at updating everyone and not overselling).

Julep: Demi with Girly Bits: January Morning
Oh man, Pam from Girly Bits kills me with her awesome polishes LOL. This is two coats of Julep's Demi which is a dark wine red creme with great application and shine. I added one coat of Girly Bits January Morning over Demi. January Morning is from the Calendar Collection and is a top coat that adds so much spice to a mani. JM has blue iridescent shimmers that are just amazing on the nail. I took a quick video of it for you so you could see the shine off of it. I love seeing shiny polishes in motion :)

OPI: My Pointe Exactly + Hippity Hop
I have another OPI soft shade and Girly Bits polish for you today! OPI My Pointe Exactly is a gray jelly that is so squishy, I love it! Girly Bits Hiippity Hop is a collection of hex glitters big and small, all shiny and gorgeous with a little iridescent shimmer thrown in for fun. I did three coats of My Pointe Exactly then one coat of Hippity Hop and another coat of MPE over that.. except on my ring finger- as an accent I didn't put a top coat of My Point Exactly over it. The inset picture is a close up of my accent finger so you can see the glitters in Hippity Hop. I love this mani.. finally a gray jelly! The glitter sandwich also softens the look of Hippity Hop if you wanted to have a more delicate glitter mani, this one's for you!

Girly Bits: Promise Me
Another fabulous polish from Girly Bits: Promise Me. I have to admit I am turning into a bit of a Girly Bits fan girl. This is another polish from the calendar collection and it's a stunner. I did two coats of this soft pink with silver shimmer and iridescent hex glitters. I really enjoyed the way this polish applied because it wasn't streaky, chunky or sheer. The shimmer and the hex glitters add great depth and like with January Morning and Magically Delicious, when it moves in the sun, you catch the sparkles from the glitters. Pam's shop is currently closed but is opening again in April so be sure to check it out.

Girly Bits: Magically Delicious
I love me some Girly Bits polish! This is Magically Delicious and it's a great glitter. I did a coat of Wet N Wild Black Creme followed by one coat of Magically Delicious and then some extra dabs to fill in bare spots. Magically Delicious has small green and holo glitter with medium gold hex and large gold square glitters, such a neat combo. I don't have any other polish that has large square glitter like this so application was a learning curve for me. I found that if you put the glitter on arching down, it follows the shape of your nail bed and thus is easier to top coat and lay flat.
The sparkle in this polish is awesome so I did a little video for you to check out. I had to move my camera to keep it out of focus so you could see the true holo of what it looks like in person. Girly Bits polishes now come in full sizes as well as the minis and the care taken to ship is immaculate and adorable as well.
Find out more about Girly Bits HERE and you can also shop there as well. Pam also gives sneak peeks and news on her Facebook page HERE. I have a few more to show you from the calendar collection so stay tuned!

Girly Bits: Shift Happens
Another Girly Bits for you today. First I put down one coat of Wet N Wild Black Creme. Then I did two coats of Girly Bits Shift Happens.. amazing. The color shifting pigment in this polish is insanely distracting! You can see the predominately red/deep copper and as you change the angle of your view, the shift happens... green, gold, touch of green and blue. This is such an awesome polish. I'm totally digging color shifting polishes now, but this is a lemming that has been slayed. I'll try it over different colors as well, but I have a feeling it will be hard to beat this combo!

Girly Bits: Into The Night
I have another Girly Bits for you today. I'm totally in love with this mani. Into the Night is a black sheer creme base with small glitter in holographic, pink, yellow, blue, purple... you name it! It reminds me of stars and would be an awesome background for a galaxy mani. I used one coat of OPI Black Onyx as a base and one coat of Into The Night over it. Yes, you get all that glitter density in one coat.... so pretty! The thing I like most about this is that the polish has the holo glitter which makes it twinkle but also has the colored glitter that stays put so you actually notice the holo glitter more and it draws more attention to the nail. I have one more Girly Bits for you to review, but in the meantime, enjoy Into The Night.

Girly Bits: Denim Diva over Joe Fresh Cobalt
I have a new brand for you today- Girly Bits. First I did two coats of Joe Fresh Cobalt which is a medium blue creme. I thought that Denim Diva would need a color under it but honestly, it doesn't. I used one coat of the shimmery blue over Cobalt. The formula is great, it was nice and smooth. I did put a top coat over it but it is shiny without one (although I always use top coats for a full mani). The shimmer in this polish makes it look like actual denim.. it's not the boring straight creme we are becoming used to seeing for spring. Denim Diva is is a fresh spin on a blue for spring. I'll revisit this one with flower stamps over it or something similar, I bet it would look stellar.
