Zoya: Ultra Pixie Dusts for Winter 2014

I have the new Zoya Ultra Pixie Dusts for you today! These are all used with no base coat and no top coat. I apply them in thin coats and more are opaque than others. Don't let the fact I used 3 coats scare you away, I do it really thin because I'm not patient for dry time, 2 would do just fine!
These are available now HERE and sell for $10 each. Great product if you are looking for something different for this holiday season!
A raspberry red textured glitter polish, 3 thin coats for this one
Beautiful! Plum purple with hints of reds and pink in the glitters
A cherry red texture, 3 coats and lots of glitter!

SinfulColors: Silk + Satin & Full Throttle- swatches

I have some random swatches for you today from SinfulColors Silk+Satin and Full Throttle Collections! These are available now in Walgreens for around $1.99. More info at the bottom of the post, enjoy!
A bright orange micro textured polish that dries to the rubbery finish as promised, 2 coats.
A deep raspberry red with the micro texture and great rubber finish, 2 coats.
A bright red, 2 coats of the micro texture and you're good to go!

This collection was super pigmented and easy to apply. The texture is so fine gritted that it applies like a creme but finishes like a rubber... not too matte, not too glossy. It's pretty cool!

An electric blue that dries pretty matte but is not fully opaque at 3 coats.
A matte silver that sparkles like crazy and not opaque after 3 coats.
After 2 generous coats, this cremey yellow was opaque but no easier to apply than any other stereotypical yellow creme. The finish is that great rubber matte though.

I definitely enjoyed the Full Throttle collection more because of it's uniqueness and quick drying, but if you have patience and like more sheer polishes, you'll enjoy the Silk + Satin.

FingerPaints: Enchanted Mermaid Collection

I have the summer FingerPaints collection for you today and it's a textured... none like I've seen before! The formula of this collection is like glitters that are covered by the polish.. does that make sense? It doesn't look or apply like a consistent "grit" as other textured polishes do. In this case, since the collection is ocean\beach themed, the sandy inconsistent texture seems appropriate. I did two coats of all unless otherwise stated.  These are available now at Sally's Beauty. Individual swatches after the jump!

Seriously love this mani. In my quest to recreate pinterest winter manis, I came across this one. I really love gray, white and glitter together. I am a huge fan of mixed media as I like to call it (really it's just mixed patterns and ways of nail art). I used quite a few polishes in this mani but here's the rundown:
Index- Zoya Dove, Middle\little- OPI Alpine Snow, Ring- London. The glitter is OPI Snowflakes in the Air  and I stamped with Essie No Place Like Chrome using the Bundle Monster Holiday plates. I forget where the snowman came from but he's stamped using Milani White On The Spot. Whew, lots of polishes in this mani but it's super cute and I love the Pixie Dust on my thumb and ring finger. Plus, I'm a sucker for a good gray, silver and white mani for the winter.

Julie G: Silver Bells and Gift Of Gold

Hi Monkeys, today I have two of the Julie G holiday polishes for you. Silver Bells and Gift of Gold are both textured polishes. Silver Bells is a true silver while Gift of Gold leans towards a yellow hue. I used two coats of the silver and went over with GoG to do goldish tips... I had a great idea in my head that it would turn out like a bit of a gradient except, these are so pigmented that it didn't fade like a gradient. They fill in nicely for textured polishes and dry really fast which is appreciated. Historically I've been a fan of Julie G textured (do you remember my gumdrops post?).
There are 6 shades to the holiday collection: Silver Bells (Silver), Ho Ho Ho (Red),Mistletoe (Green), Gift of Gold (Gold), Sleigh Ride (Blue), Sugar Plum Fairy (Purple).

JulieG Frosted Gum Drops™ Holiday Collection (SRP: $3.99 each) will be available late October/
early November at Rite Aid stores and online at www.jessesgirlcosmetics.com. Jesse’s Girl Cosmetics worked with talented beauty blogger Leslie Henry of Work/Play/Polish (workplaypolish.com) to produce stunning promotional images for the holiday campaign, which will be seen on displays nationwide.
